I did it!!!! After 4 years at UW, 3 applications to CS, 2 years as a Pre-Science student, and 1 sad quarter as a Math major, I’m finally graduating from the Allen School 🙂 Five years ago my brother casually suggested that I try programming, and now here I am. To Hassan: THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! You’ve helped me through every single step in my college career, you convinced me to apply to the major for a third time instead of giving up, and I quite literally would not have gotten here if it wasn’t for you. I love you so much!!! And to the rest of my family and my friends: thank you for your unconditional love and support and for being proud of me even when I don’t feel proud of myself. I love you all :’)
